Directed by Alan Beattie, U.S.A. A nurse arrives at a house to look after wheelchair-bound Ivar Langrock (Joseph Cotten, in one of his last roles), and encounters various other characters, including Ivar’s enigmatic grandson. Charitably put, this is a real slow burner. Less charitably put, it’s dreary, tedious, and barely definable as horror. 1/5.
